Devin davis, founder
I found yoga in 2019 while recovering from cancer, at a time when everything in my life felt uncertain and I felt like I couldn't trust my body. Yoga became less about “getting better” and more about remembering I was still here - still breathing, still capable, still human. That experience shaped the way I teach today: honest, grounded, and accessible for everybody and every body.
I’ve been described as “serious, but soft,” which feels fitting for someone who sequences intentionally but also encourages falling, laughing, and unclenching your jaw.
My philosophy is simple: presence over performance. Yoga doesn’t ask you to be perfect - it asks you to show up.
The tattoos I've chosen for my body - "temporary", "memento mori", "memento amoris", and "amor fati" - are reminders that our time here is finite and precious and we must roll with it, even when it's not the plan. Holding my Mema’s hand as she passed away changed me profoundly and pushed me toward the work I feel called to do: helping people live more awake, embodied, and intentional lives.
I care more about healthspan than longevity, more about the quality of my days than the quantity of my years. At MORTAL, we practice to feel alive now - not someday - all the while, making decisions today that will benefit us decades from now.
I try to do my best every day. But I also know that "my best" changes every day, and yours will too. This studio is a space to honor that, to show up as you are, and to practice being human - together.
Can't wait to meet you :)
CJ Yeagley, Instructor
CJ gravitates toward connection. connection with movement, with people, and with the emotions of mind, body, and spirit. his path into yoga began after years of playing sports growing up and throughout college, where he found himself craving something deeper than competition alone. in 2013, he earned his first 200 hour certification in hatha yoga under becca hewes (yoga life, okc). drawn to learn more about the art and architecture of asana, CJ later studied at awakening yoga academy, completing a second 200 hour and a 500 hour certification. their mentorship helped shape his foundation, and while he remains grateful for those years of training, his path has since evolved, guided by his own experiences, intuition, and new connections.
CJ holds a Master’s degree in Exercise Science and has taught over 3,000 hours of public classes, workshops, retreats, and private sessions. his teachings have reached global audiences through online platforms like commune online and just move. along the way, he has explored many channels of the body mind connection, including focused movement, breathwork, meditation, and more recently, sound healing. cj now shares his teachings online through the digital movement studio he and shelby run, INNR SPCE.

Hannah Thomas, Instructor
Hannah Thomas started practicing yoga about 7 years ago at the age of 16. Her mom introduced her to the world of yoga by attending classes at fitness gyms and small studios around the OKC area. She found her yoga home at This Land Yoga Studio in 2017 and completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in December 2023. Hannah danced from the age of 3 until age 18, focusing on ballet and modern, so she enjoys intertwining her love of dance with her love of yoga, especially through flow and restore and vinyasa style classes. Hannah received her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of North Texas and now works in the Maternal Mental Health field at Sunbeam Family Services. Hannah is a shy, kind, and soft-spoken individual who enjoys spending time with family, friends and her boyfriend, watching good TV shows and movies, skincare, and napping. She is excited to continue her yoga teaching journey and hopes you will join her for good vibes, good music, and good company.

Laura Goehler, Instructor
Laura first found her way to the mat in search of connection and community – a desire to step out of the day-to-day and into something more meaningful. What she found in yoga was more than just movement; it was a practice grounded in full embodiment.
As a teacher, Laura aims to create that same sense of connection by encouraging you to move with intention and share in the energy of the space. Expect some fun playlists added to the mix! Music has a unique way of boosting our collective vibe.
With a professional background in mental health, Laura also incorporates elements of interoception and emotional awareness. She views yoga as a means of reconnecting with ourselves. Her intention is to hold space for you to connect more deeply with body, mind, and spirit.
Lindsey Ewert, Instructor
Lindsey began practicing yoga in 2003, first as a complement to her college fitness routine and later as a grounding force through the intensity of law school. Over time she became fascinated by how yoga moves energy, emotion and awareness through the body.
Before becoming a teacher, Lindsey survived a hit-and-run accident that left her with a brain contusion and PTSD. Recovery forced her into an intimate relationship with her nervous system as she relearned how to inhabit her mind and body. In the months of disorientation that followed, her mat became a place of rebuilding. Practices like yoga and qigong helped her reconnect to herself, understand her symptoms and cultivate moments of steadiness in unfamiliar terrain.
Her classes now reflect that lived understanding. Lindsey teaches with compassionate curiosity, always keeping the nervous system in mind. She believes yoga helps decode the messages of the body, emotions, mind and spirit, and she strives to create classes that meet students where they are while guiding them toward self-compassion and inner ease.
Off the mat, Lindsey and her husband enjoy the privilege of raising two energetic young boys. She still practices law occasionally, loves reading and existential musing, spends time meditating with her crystal collection and plays guitar whenever possible. Lindsey is a graduate of the Hoffman Process, a Reiki Shoden practitioner and a longtime practitioner of Transcendental Meditation. She completed her 200-hour training at This Land Yoga in Oklahoma City in 2024 and is grateful for the opportunity to share this practice with her community.
Reagan Johnson, Instructor
Reagan has always had a deep curiosity about the cosmos and the mind. After exploring various fields of study, this curiosity eventually led him to the science and philosophy of meditation. He became deeply passionate about the practice and realized that through meditation we can overcome anger, depression, anxiety, stress, and trauma.
Reagan began studying meditation and Dharma at Buddha Mind Monastery in 2018. Naturally, the study of Buddhism and other spiritual traditions brought him to the powerful science of yoga. He began his yoga practice in 2020 and decided to pursue the 200-hour yoga teacher training at This Land Yoga in 2025.
Reba Davis, Studio dog
Reba Davis began her yoga journey alongside her dad. What started as biiiiiig stretches and impressively long savasanas quickly evolved into a deeper practice… something to do in between carrots, treats, and checking on everyone in the room.
At 13 years old, Reba is one of our most senior instructors—but don’t let that fool you. She’s always down for a challenging class (as long as it includes a solid nap halfway through).
Yes, some people call her a nepo baby since her dad owns the studio, but she’d like to make one thing clear: she works very hard. Constantly surpervising students and moving from one rug, to her dad's mat, to another rug before heading to the first rug again.
It takes real dedication to sleep through an entire vinyasa class.
Reba just makes it look effortless.
Catch Reba The Pup in the studio a few times a week and give her a tummy scratch—arguably the best part of the entire practice.
More instructors coming soon...
